This cast listing is pretty good. Midori Days is one of those animes that could easily be adapted as a live-action film. The only CGI necessary in this movie would be for Midori as Seiji's hand.

But will this movie be based on the anime or manga, or both?

I'm curious as to why.

I was just wondering because the manga version of Midori Days has a whole lot more in the storyline than the anime (such as more characters and scenes). So if you decide to base the movie adaptation on the manga story, then the movie will turn out to be longer.

But in my opinion, the anime's story is more fitting for a movie adaptation

The anime, then, I suppose.

Cool! Now let's condense our two soundtracks into our own version of the soundtrack. I think the five songs I'd call "must-haves" in what we'll call "the definitive Midori no Hibi soundtrack" are "Hit the Lights (first Metal Massacre recording featuring Lloyd Grant)" by Metallica (speed metal), "Girlfriend" by Avril Lavigne (punk), "The Mechanix (No Life 'Till Leather recording)" by Metallica (speed metal), "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley (pop), and "Beat It" by Fall Out Boy (pop punk). What do you think should be included in the combination?
