Anybody else depressed with what has happened to Cameron Crowe?

Say Anything, Jerry Maguire, Almost Famous, then he just started to go down hill after that which is surprising because the first 3 were so good. What particularly surprises me here is that for such a sensitive seeming filmmaker, he completely ignored a whole culture of people. Really disappointing.

I started a Youtube channel at the beginning of this summer (well, end of May). Really want to foster it and get it to another level and could always use some support, or criticism in case you want to be constructive, but just wanted to go back and try to gain some new recruits. I've liked everything he's done up until Aloha. Even Elizabethtown, We Bought a Zoo and Singles (which came between Say Anything and Jerry Maguire). But this was just a trainwreck. I really wanted to like it but it was just a total mess. Nothing worked.

After watching this I can't believe he made Vanilla Sky. One of my all time favorites.

The ONLY reason I saw this is because of Cameron Crowe. Man, he really dropped the ball on this one.
