This movie is exactly like Anthony Zimmer

It's very usual to buy the rights to make the Hollywood version, but is more frequent with TV Series like 'Broadchurch'for example.

Same with the Millenium franchise (the one from the Swedish novelist). The rights probably were boughy.

Ofcourse it is, since it's a remake. Jérôme Salle, the writer and director of "Anthony Zimmer", is even credited here.
