Not sure why...

SPOILER!! Don't read if you haven't seen & plan to watch... SPOILER!!

First, I'd like to say, I enjoyed this movie. I've watched it a couple of times.

With that said, however, I'm not sure exactly why he executed this plan at all.
His new identity was apparently perfect. So, instead of having everyone follow him thinking he's Pearce, why not just be "the average Joe" and take care of business behind everyone's back?

Granted, it wouldn't make an interesting plot, but,... I'm just sayin'.
