I FORGOT THE MOVIE WAS GOING TO BE ON TONIGHT AND MISSED IT BUT I DID TURN IT OVER FOR A MINUTE IN THE MIDDLE AND HEARD A SONG WHILE ONE OF THE BROTHERS WAS AT HIS LAPTOP AND ALL I COULD HEAR WAS A LITTLE BIT OF THE LYRICS SOMETHING LIKE A BOY LIKE ME NEEDS A GIRL LIKE YOU? AND THE MALE VOCALIST SOUNDED LIKE IT WAS RECORDED SOMETIME BETWEEN 1958-1963. IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT. IF NOT I WILL WATCH FOR THE NEXT AIRING.

shareAccording to the soundtrack listing at the end of the movie, the song is called "A Girl Like You" but an artist is not listed. I agree with your time estimate... I'd go with around 1963.... The Teen Idol sound. This is a very good song. I'll do some research and write back with any information I find.
