Wow! Robin Tunney in the first scene at her wedding looked ancient! Who is her makeup artist? They should be fired she looked like absolute crap I coulnt even concdentrate on what she was saying! All I could see was her huge marionette face she looks 140!

reply

Robin Tunnney will be perfect to play a grandmother in film roles in about 5 minutes> too sad a young girl looks soooooooooooooo old! Robin -it's hard to watch please try kinerase

reply

omg i totally agree and surprised no one mentioned this earlier. If the real bride looked that bad on her wedding day, i feel bad for her hubby! She didn't even try with her makeup and that hair!

reply

The first scene wasn't on her wedding day. It was the fitting for the dress.
Maybe you should pay more attention to the movie next time.
She looked totally different and very pretty in the real wedding scene.

Excuse me. Robin will be 39 this this year and if you watch her on The Mentalist she looks like 10 years younger, sometimes even more so than her costar Amanda Righetti who is infact 10 years younger.

reply

Take a look at the real Nancy Kissel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Nancykissel.jpg) and also watch a couple of episodes of The Mentalist and you will see that the make-up artists had the unenviable task of making Robin look bad to match the real person in the story. Probably was as hard as it was to turn Talia Shire into a toad in the beginning half of the first "Rocky" movie.

reply

honestly, the real nancy was not ugly. Robin is very pretty but the real nancy was definitely not ugly.

reply

Did the makeup artist have to put the dent in Robins face too ? Nope , sory that is really hers .

Oh my god! I thought I was the only one who had noticed that! Robin looked dreadful!

What does what we look like have to do with the fact that Robin did not look her best in this movie? It's nothing personal... we are just stating facts.

reply

This is so true. Robin's a decent actress but I could NOT concentrate and could not see her as the over sexed seductress she was meant to be playing because she just looked way too old for this part. At the very least, they could have put temporary fillers in the dents in her face when she was playing the younger Nancy. I am sure a couple hundred dollars extra was in the movie's budget.

Dammit Carol Sue, where is the vodka?!

A comment on her page indicates she must have had some cancer surgery on her cheek. It is noticeable.

In the procedure the patient is awake. Tissue is taken and examined while the surgery team waits. Then I guess they remove more if signs of cancer are there.

This sounds difficult and Robin has earned some respect for going through this. It hasn't stopped her acting career.
