Double dose of Ricardo Darín among the Foreign Language Oscars

The Oscar Selection Committee will have a double dose of the amazing talent of Ricardo Darín when selecting the five candidates for the Best Foreign Language Film Oscar's 2010 edition.

Spain has finally chosen its Oscar representative: Fernando Trueba's "El baile de la victoria," which stars Argentine wonder Ricardo Darín, who is highly regarded by the always generous film and theater audiences and critics of Spain. Trueba directed the Oscar winning "Belle Epoque."

But it so happens that a few days ago Argentina submitted the blockbuster, critically hyper-praised "El Secreto de sus ojos," directed by Juan José Campanella. This actor-director team brought Argentina its last nomination with "Son of the Bride."

Wouldn't it be something if Darín ended up in TWO Oscar nominated films?
