I'm Really Liking Egypt

After watching a number of Egypt's shows, I have to say I like her. She has an easy style and a fun sense of humor, and I enjoy her interactions with her clients. Frankly, I would like to have someone like Egypt as my realtor!

I don't LOVE her or anything, but I must say I am growing a bit fond of her. I wish she would get a bit more comfortable and let loose like Sandra, but at the same time I love how professional she is. I'm watching the episode with an Atlanta couple and I love how she said "it's my job to protect you" when they were going wayyyy too high with their first offer for a house, and she really laid out why it was a bad idea, from a future appraisal ultimately forcing them to go lower anyway or them simply being ripped off. Sandra never had any moments like that as far as I've seen. I like how Egypt feels non-judgmental, though Sandra also had a way of nudging people towards deciding things themselves.

I just wish she'd loosen up! But I love her professionalism. Idk. I'm just growing fond of her. I like this show more than other house hunter type shows - aside from the locales in HHI - because it feels more organic and real so Egypt's professionalism is fine for me. I hope she'll develop more charisma as time moves on.

I love her too.. I like Sandra too don't get me wrong but I feel like Egypt is more of a host for a tv show while Sandra to me was a bit boring.

A year after I made the original post I'm liking Egypt even better.

In fact I like the whole show more.

I wish they would do followups and show us what the buyers have done.

But other than that I really like Egypt.

Agree with pretty much all the above...

Yeah, the only thing that would make this show better is to visit the new HOs a few weeks or months later so we can see what they did to their property (I am a nosy b*tch)

I was a big fan of Sandra, so I was wary of the change at first. But yes, Egypt has grown on me, too. I think she's beautiful and smart, and I like that she keeps things professional even when the virgins are annoying.

That said ... I did sort of prefer Sandra's shows because she worked lots of different cities, EVERYWHERE in the US & Canada. One episode she'd be knee-deep in snow, next she'd be in a sun dress in Florida, no sweat. It's fun to see the different RE markets on these types of shows. Egypt always seems to stay in the Atlanta area.

I just saw two new episodes with Egypt that were in different states. One was in Florida and the other was in, I think, North or South Carolina.
