The cover of Lonely Planet Boy in the trailer is fantastic! Anyone know where I can get it?
shareI searched iTunes for it and all I found was some 3 song sound track but no "Lonely Planet Boy." I have a feeling it's a live track.
shareLonely Planet Boy is a song recorded by the New York Dolls on their first album released in 1973. Name of the album "New York Dolls" and most songs including this one are written by David Johansen and Johnny Thunders. If you like this song, then the album will blow you away so I recommend it of course. I haven't seen this movie yet, but the trailer alone shows a character that seems to be based on Thunders quite a bit. He made it past 27, but not by much.
