Is it a Filmy remake of Mr.Yogi?

The storyline has a uncanny ressemblance with Mr. Yogi....A superb TV serial aired in 1989.....directed by none other than brilliant Ketan Mehta. In serial Mr. Yogi was a NRI looking for a girl and met 12 girls.....ya you guessed right......of 12 Raashee(Signs)!!.....13 episodes in total. after listening about this movie i got the strong sense of deja-vu......bcoz of Mr.Yogi.....and guess what?!....the guy in Mr. Yogi was called Y. I. Patel.....Yogesh Indernath Patel.( he used introduce himself as "Hi, me Y I Patel"....with American accent.....and girls would reply back with "How do i know..why you are Patel"!! :-).

Yes well, that's because both this movie and 'Mr. Yogi' are based on the same book 'Kimball Ravenswood' by Madhu Rye. But according to Gowarikar, the ending is different from the book and the serial.

I think in novel and the TV serial Mr. Yogi ending Yogesh settles down with some thirteenth girl without even knowing her zodiac sign.
