I loved loved loved this movie!!

I just loved each and every bit of this movie. Every scene between PC and HB was to die for. But I would vouch for Hansa's scene more. Just becuz love is such a special feeling. But I cannot deny the hotness portrayed by the Libra character, Rajni..

Damn! I can't wait to go and watch this movie at the theater again! Lol!

Yes I liked it too. I wish the movie had more screen time in Chicago and mid points in the movie dragged slightly. Priyanka Chopra is indeed the highlight of the movie. She displayed such awesome acting ability in the first role. I do however feel that some of the roles could have been extended to a few minutes more.

reply

It was a tour de force for Priyanka. I agree that maybe every girl didn't need her own musical numbers. But all it all, I really enjoyed this film. The only downside for me was that Yogesh didn't end up with Hansa.

reply

I am currently watching this movie..I really enjoyed the theme song at the beginning of the movie!

reply

I was always keen to see priyanka in a new get up every time. She makes the movie worth watching. However I wish she had more screen time for each of the 12 roles. The best character was the first one in the restaurant. She was so natural.

reply

Did she win an award for her performances? If not, she was duped, because she was a force to be reckon with, doing all of those characters...and brilliantly so!

reply

Priyanka Chopra did not win an award for her performance unfortunately. According to the Filmfare Awards 2010, Best actress went to Katrina Kaif for 'New York', and Best actress critics award went to Kareena Kapoor for 'Kurbaan'.

I feel that Priyanka should have received it but she did receive an award for 'Fashion', so maybe they didn't want to make it look like favoritism.

reply

Too bad! It seems like the new actors get the recognition and credit! I haven't seen 'Kurbaan' because I heard it was like 'New York'

reply

Kurbaan was better technically. But New York came with the plot first. But with 'what's your rashee', the movie exceeded 3 hours. I had to watch it in two parts.

reply

Really! Well I will have to see it sometime soon! I liked 'New York'..it was one of the first movies I watched from Bollywood again, and I loved the change, being the first Bollywood I've seen without the music and dancing!

reply

It was a good movie but Nitin Neil Mukesh should not have been in it. John Abraham was good as usual.

reply

Was he a little stiff? I found him to be. But all-in-all, he did a good job of laying out the story. I have been wanting to see 'Jail', which he is in.

reply

I don't find there to be any emotions and feelings in Neil Mukesh's acting. He is improving however. But 'Jail' was okay. I thought the plot was routine. It could have been better.
