Aagh! help please

the only reason i bought the DVD ($2.00) at local Indian grocery was so that I could get the otherwise unavailable lyrics to "gujju comedy rap" uma thob (spelling?). i have the impression that the song was used somewhere in this movie. unfortunately the disc states that it has "subtitles on/off" but there are no subtitles! i know neither hindi nor gujarati but am interested in gujarati aspects of this film. SO i will watch it with or without that rap, and without subtitles but can anyone give me an idea of what that rap says? I ask because so many people say "it is so true" and a good reflection of gujaratis/gujarati NRIs nowadays. thanks, Michael in CT USA

thanks for your reply, actually I don't where or even if the rap appears in the movies. in any case, i have been told that i can get a "master copy" with subtitles for $3.00 when it arrives.

OOH! Where do you live? I live in Hous.TX and I can't find this movie anywhere, I had to "borrow" it from someone and well no one seems to sell it! I only know of certain Indian grovery stores but they're very far away from me. What's the store called and do they sell more Indian movies there? (that maybe a stupid question!?)

reply

I'm afraid the store is in Connecticut, sorry. The movies are only $2 (legal bootleg), then when they get "master copies" they are only $3.00. Don't you feel too bad, if you search for an online store you can probably get them

Homeboy, would this be because you / parents are of Gujarati origin or NRI?
