i really enjoyed this series and i have a friend i know who would love it. was wondering if anyone knew where i could buy it, or at least watch it again? (not on tv as i only have basic channels and my friend lives in america)

I don’t think it is available to buy. For a while certain episodes were available on the BBC i player but it appears this option has now finished. It may repeat on TV again.

It starts repeating tonight on bbc2 at 11:20pm, then it's on Tuesday next week, after that I assume the rest will follow
as for keeping the ep's, I hope a dvd will be coming out, until then you can look for a torrent, there used to be one on www.thebox.bz

I got a copies of both series (including the pilot episode -13 in total) on DVD-R from http://dvd247.tripod.com/supersize.html.
Cost was £13 GBP total for both series (4 disks) - highly recomended.
