Punchline to the Dollar Store anecdote???

While the credits are rolling on this DVD Billy is on stage telling a humorous anecdote about a visit to the Dollar Store. He says Dollar Stores "don't need cash registers" because all they have to do is count the items, "One dollar, two dollars, three dollars, etc." Then, just as he is about to tell us what he sees at the checkout counter the screen goes black and the DVD ends.

Now, can anyone who was at this show fill the rest of us in? Is there an easter egg somewhere on the DVD that continues where this leaves off? Or perhaps this is a joke and somebody out there knows the punchline?

Anyone??? :o)

Dear Mr. Freakseed -
I recently recorded this show on my DVR and I too was puzzled when it stopped before the punch line. The next screen showed the web site for the group. I went there, hoping to find the answer, but I could not find any reference to the Dollar Store story. And do you really think he shops there?

Hey Prosper-6,
I finally have an official answer to my initial question! A friend of mine was at a ZZ Top show and just so happened to shoot some video on his cellphone, including the punchline to the dollar store joke. Apparantly, it's not really a joke after all, even though a previous poster did give a pretty funny answer to it.

So anyway, after Billy gives pretty much the same speech as he does on the DVD, he "walks up to the counter of the dollar store, and what does he see?"

I'll give you a hint. The clip in question is actually an introduction to one of their most popular tunes.

And the answer is: Cheap Sunglasses

Now it all makes sense!

I was not there, but a friend that was told me the punchline was:

"All our CD's"
(as in making fun of themselves)
