Absolute crap

How long did they spend writing this script? Like 5 minutes?

reply

I think it was half an hour!

Its that man again!!

reply

It was mostly improvised so, no, they didn't write a script.

reply

Meaning they couldn't be bothered to even produce a script!

reply

Ah thats cool, fun and good practice when I did drama. Quite a risk for a film but I think they did it well.

reply

Well, Mike Leigh has made a career out of it so it can't be all that bad not having a set script.

Personally, I hate these kind of films but came across it as it was shown today and found myself laughing...so stayed to watched and thoroughly enjoyed it.

It's a Christmas feel good film, a bit of fun, done a group of actors and kids who looked to be having a good time and what they did they did well.

Mal,they are starting to damage my calm!

It felt like someone had watched an end of term stage school show and thought "why not make a film about it?"

It's alright if you're the proud parents but for me, watching this was as dull as dishwater.

reply

It wasn't absolute crap, but it wasn't any good either, it did have it's moments and was kinda funny at times but the plot was weak and it was bit "let's just throw stuf at this and see what happens". Actually had a decent cast though.

It shows. It has torture to endure this the entire way through. An 1hr 45min was way too long for this.
