TNT not airing the rest of the season until summer is a very bad move. A big chunk of fans will have lost interest and forgotten about the show by then. Giving us 6 episodes and then nothing more until 5 or 6 months later is ratings suicide. The funniest part is they are doing this because they claim ratings are better in the summer. Very sad that we most likely won't get a 3rd season because of this stunt.
shareTNT does this to all their shows not just Men of a Certain Age!! It does not kill the show or the interest of the fans & if it does you're not really a fan of the show.

I disagree. Look at how many of their shows only last a season or two. That should tell you something about how effective that type of scheduling isn't.

I don't recall any show that only aired 6 episodes. Now granted the only other shows I watch have been on FX like Rescue Me and Sons of Anarchy.

I myself will not pretend to be able to make better decisions then the people who do these jobs but i don't think "this" will kill the show. Granted bad decisions have been made in the past whether it was TNT or not, these people are more qualified to make that decision then some people on message boards.
taking a 5-6 month break isn't much different then the wait for another season. there are many shows out we have to wait 9 months for the next season to start. People just need reminded the show is coming back and when

Yes it was an ABC exec who turned down "All in the Family".
Said the public wouldn't go for it.
It is a foolish decision and will cost them in the ratings dept.
Unlike shows like Rescue Me or Sons of Anarchy there is no cliffhanger with this showto get viewers to tune back in.
It is good but slow moving, to just yank it like that was dumb.
And BTW it is more than 5 or 6 months. The show ended in mid Jan. and is not coming back till Aug. or Sept....way too long.
I guess it's best to treat this season as being a "mini-season".
Really retarded, but what can you do? At least the didn't leave the season on a cliffhanger. It almost felt like an end of season episode (2.6).
