Third Season Start Date.
According to TNT.TV The third season will start June 1 10pm.

Well confusion occurs when they split seasons like that.

ummm.. South Park has been following this model for many many Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaany years.. as has EVERY single USA show.. from Monk, Psych, White Collar, Covert Affairs.. (not sure if The Dead Zone followed this pattern.. I don't think so though).
Its not unheard of on CABLE channels for sesaons to be split up.. HBO and ShowTIME for PREMIUM cable are the rarities thay they show an ENTIRE season at one time.. although even in the case of HBO I do remember.. season 6? I believe of Entourage was also split up. same with The Sopranos.. So the whole short season thing isn't unheard of.. and many other channels are beginning to adopt the practice..
although.. I must admit.. I LOVED FOX's practice on 24 of showing from BEGINNING TO END.. non stop... without the usual Thanksgiving 6 week hiatus.. I kind of WISH they'd order TWENTY episode seasons.. and split them 10 and 10.. but.. the economics, sadly, seem now to be in favor ot 12-16 episode seasons..
