Who sang 'Will you love me tomorrow'

In the final minutes of "The Great Escape" the soundtrack was a fairly unadorned version of Carole King's "Will You Love me Tomorrow" If this was Carole King, what album? If not, was it Roberta Flack?

I have no doubt that that was Carole King's version from 'Tapestry' that closed the show.

But who's version was it that opened the show (playing on Joe's radio)?

I missed it, but if it was playing on an oldies station, then it was probably the Shirelles. But don't hold me to it.

Pretty sure that the version heard in last night's episode was by the Shirelles.

Yes, the version at the beginning was the Shirelles. The version at the end was Carol King.
