Quick question about Dory

I was just wondering, since Joe's father mentioned her a couple of episodes back to Ray and they talked about her, has there been any mention of her returning to the show? I mean, after how they split, well we didn't really see it, but we all know it was because of Joe's gambling at the time. Just wondering if that was the writers way of bringing her back into the story.
