I don't get it...

Maybe this was brought up when this movie first came out, but none of the newer topics seem to ask this - why after being left in the cabin after she was raped, did she walk, pantyless, into the woods? I get that she may have been in shock but I would think that would make her stay put, so if she's going to get up why wouldn't she grab her pants and her keys and sprint to her car? Why were the rapists sitting around in the woods - did they somehow know she would walk right to them - she could have walked anywhere, but walks randomly where they happen to be? You would think that they wouldn't leave her considering they would have to kill her in order to get away with it.

Also, when the sheriff called for backup, was he faking or did he actually call in the other 4 rapists? Lastly, how did Matthew get in the cabin when Jennifer calling his name - the sheriff gave the keys back?

Well the original hardly / barely made any sense whatsoever and this is supposed to be remaking it.

Does that answer your question?

That or just bad writing.

She obviously enjoyed getting raped and went back for more.
