She knows shes going to jail for life right?

You don't kill 5 people, 1 being a sheriff who you also kidnapped his daughter and showed yourself to his wife and expect to get away with it. They should have at least made it so there wasn't evidence so you could really feel like she got revenge. But there is definitely enough proof to put her away for life. I don't care how much evidence she hides, any average forensics team and detectives could put it together.

That depend whether the judge is a rapist.

Temporary Insanity is proper and Post trauma stress along with the original tape will be the defense and she would walk by any competent defense attorney. There are issues but the extreme way she killed them actually helps her case. Also, she did not kill the wife or daughter. I doubt this would even go to trial. No prosecutor would want to try this, especially with a cop involved in the crime. It would be made to go away.

Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man....

reply

Well nobody knew she was there.
The old guy was killed by the sherif. And all others where also killed

reply

It was self-defense, they were after her life, so they should let her free.

reply

That (if she's even "caught"), and what Bahn-4 had said. Sure, what she went through is life-altering, but I wasn't worried about her. Just cheering for her. x)

Bull. Self defense only works if you were in imminent danger of great physical harm or death. Due to the time between the rapes and her escape, and the killings, she can't logically make this claim.

No, this was not self-defense; it was nothing more than revenge.

reply

Jail would be the least of her concerns after what she went through. Jail.... Really?

If you were on a jury (not having seen the movie myself) and had a vote to convict or acquit, where would you stand and why?

reply

Reminds me of the movie A Time to Kill.
