Excelent performances except for Alberto Ammann

I just can't believe this guy, with just one previous tv work, landed the starring role in this movie. I sure could understand it if his acting was good enough to justify it, but i's not by a good stretch. His gestuality isn't the worse, I give him that, but otherwise every time he opens his mouth he kills the suspension of disbelief with his faux, school play level delivery. This movie deserved better than a Twilight level casting decision for its main character for sure, specially when confronted with his co-star Tosar, one monster of an actor who literally eclipses Ammann in every single frame of this they shared together.

Sorry about it, but I had to take this out of my chest, as this guy almost single-handedly killed an otherwise good movie for me -thank heavens for Tosar's amazing, compensating work. As everyone else seems to be so happy about the overall quality of the performances in the movie, I felt so compelled to point this flaw out that I just had to do it. Sorry.

No. He didn't.

Tosar is terrific in this movie (to be honest Tosar is always amazing) but Ammann is awful, his performance and his accent, i can clearly appreciate his argentine accent.

I though every single performance was amazing ... I quite liked the negotiator and Malamadre gave me pure chills
but Amman was a huge miscast, besides, what's with the accent? Like there aren't enough talented Spanish actors, he should have either gone with his own accent or they could have had him dubbed but this going from castillain one minute to full-on Argentinian the next kinda ruined the whole character. Still one of best films I've seen in a long while.
