I would like an apology....

....from everyone involved in this turd of a movie.

Oz has produced so many really good films, including horror, and this just cuts them all off at the knees.

What the heck were they thinking? You know, at first, there was a faint hint of Dennis Weaver and Duel, then it slowly went to pieces. The symbolism and polemics used throughout the movie were just enough that only those savvy in Greek mythology would get them.

There were a couple of interesting moments in the movie, but not enough to save it.

I'm sorry, but this is a 1/10 and that's because I don't think I can give it anything lower. I'm sure glad that someone else rented it, and the beer was of good quality!

my favorite part in the movie was when it ended

IN THE END THERE WILL BE ONLY CHAOS

Australia produces good movies? ummm no, they are generally bad actors, a bit like Indians.

There was one Oz film that was "average" at best, forgot the name, but it is a bout young police officer moving to a small town with his pregnant wife when all of a sudden some guy runs from prison with an aim to kill everyone in this little town.

Apart from that film it is all rubbish coming from Australia. Sorry but truth hurts, eh?

reply

Mad Max is a great Australian film

They have some pretty good movies coming out of Australia.

The Horsemen
Muriel's Wedding
Animal Kingdom
The Proposition

Okay this is all I can think of right now.

I think that was Red Hill you're talking about.

Ginnn,
Australia produces some bloody great Movies. Just too many too list, If however this was the first and only Australian movie you have seen, I could understand the statement.
Plot Holes, Bad Acting, Pathetic Story. What went through the heads of studio directors to put this piece of trash together?
Move Over Plan 9 from Outer Space, and Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, Road Kill is in town.

No Daniel Craig, I Expect You To Die.

I'd be interested in which Australian movies you were talking about when you refer to "rubbish". Also which actors are "generally bad". Also if you wouldn't mind providing examples of Indian "rubbish" and "bad actors" - your generic reference to the Indian sub-continent was a little vague as it has a population of around 1 billion. I looked up IMDB's worst ranked movies expecting to find it bursting with Aussie flicks, but was surprised to find none. There were a lot of American movies though, in fact more than half of the bottom 10 alone.

You forgot how all Australians have a bad habit of stereotyping as well.

This was a low budget horror movie. The acting as good for what it was. I was surprised at Nina's survival since she seemed like the 'outsider' of the group, and they're usually the first to die. I do confess to fast forwarding some of it as it did drag in places and I was more interested in the ending than how they got there. Having just watched 'Dark Town', this movie was light years better in every single way. I'd rate it about 4 out of 10. Slightly below average, but made good use with what it had.

I really should have checked IMDB before buying a DVD of this film. It was such a let down. The back of the DVD made it out to be a lot more interesting than it was - it ended up being awful.

I had to switch off my surround sound system and revert back to the TV's speakers because the music was so badly produced or mixed.

The acting could have been a lot better.

I honestly was expecting a road chase film like Duel with some clever Aussie twists but it was something entirely different!
