I'm not sure there's anywhere...

You can just catch as many trout/salmon as you want. Isn't it like 1 per day at most? And that's only at certain times of the year.

You did just fine, Clarence. Now go git yo'self some hot cornbread!

There are creel limits in all of the states in which I have fished. If you reach your creel limit you may continue to fish, but you must release the fish you catch.

They made it seem like he just showed up and caught and ate as many fish as he wanted every day. I know most people just disregard that, but as a fisherman, that seemed pretty ridiculous.

I grew up as a fly fisherman. In the past 15 years, its all pretty much become catch and release. I still take home a couple of nice trout to smoke, on occasion. But back when we were younger, we would live on trout and salmon of long trips or when backpacking. But we would never kill anything we didn't eat.

I think enforcement of strict creel limits and "Catch and Release" have really improved trout populations from what thet were 40 years ago on most western streams.
