This film is made by and made for designer wankers.
Selfcongratulatory bunch of pretentious bores.
It's so modern it will be kitsch next month.

And noone is more of a self-regarding, pompous, grasping, full-of-himself a55hole than Marc Newson. Christ, he needs to look hard at the grotesque thing he has become. Ditto for Rashid.

The British lady who summarizes deisgn is the most useful talking head.

The fop curator is punch-worthy.

LOL, so true. "We were totally middle class, my parents were bot doctors, design shouldn't be elitist" ROFL, designers are so full of it it's nearly unbelievable. Post modernity has taken a wrong turn some where....

Yeah... it is a big let down. 70% of it is just people talking about what they think design is. And then the lady at the end said that designers should design not just things but also how we act in the world and that designers should be the ones guiding the politicians. Some of the people in this documentary are a waste of film. I liked the Apple part, but most other parts were boring. And what about the part where the 2 women added buttons to a coach to make it personal? WTF? They would just be irritating to sit on and have no use.
