Post crowd reports here (how full the theater was, what trailers were shown, audience reaction if any, etc...). I'm not expecting it to do that well, but would love to be proven wrong.

Apparently the 8pm show in NYC was sold out...
sharei was at the 6pm showing in nyc. theatre was probably two thirds full. everyone was engaged. some fella got harassed hard when his phone beeped. there were laughs throughout but the biggest one was when ben gets so caught up in johnny and alexa's love scene in the play that he totally forgets to dim the lights. the woman next to me remarked that the movie was, "adorable." my date said that she wouldn't use that particular adjective to describe the film but that she did like it a lot. the three leads were very good and i thought the ending was quite clever as well.
shareI went to a showing in LA, the cast and director were there for Q and A's after. You mentioned the ending, my friend and I really enjoyed the film but were a bit confused about the ending.
