What a great Philosophical Insight! (spoilers)

I think this is one of those Gems which one gets to see very rarely!
What a beautiful movie!
Let me try and explain (without getting too carried away) why I think this is one of the few great movies of our times..
This is one of the few movies (I can't think of any other) that looks at the morality behind terrorism at various levels.

Ok at the more obvious level i.e. the Micro level at which the Villain (we will call him Head Terrorist or HT) says that one cannot make one's own destiny and one's destiny is shaped by events and mainly by others.
This is a crucial point around which the whole ideology of Terrorism lies, i.e. that one cannot create one's own destiny and once one is born into a community, the community must fight its so called "enemies", the people have to do what they are born to do/god's will etc. So the Terrorist blindly hits back at his/her so called Oppressor, without bothering to consider other options.
The main protagonist or Hero on the other hand thinks differently, i.e. given a particular situation one can create one can chose what to do and hence create one's own destiny. It is this difference in philosophy that makes the movie so beautiful., note that the director never preaches and doesn't say that one philosophy is better than the other.
The director just shows the choice in Morality that the Hero has to make.
In the end the result is there for all to see, the Hero chooses to save the people in the bus and goes against the flow of oppression, he takes his destiny in his own hands staying true to his philosophy!

At the Macro level the movie tries to show that terrorism is really only a philosophical/moral choice and its a very intellectual problem! So to fight terrorism one has to fight the root cause!
This is exactly what the Hero does at the end!, he fights the root cause of Terrorism, the philosophy (for the lack of a better word) of having to take law into one's own hands as one cannot otherwise change one's situation (or the situation of one's community). The Hero does exactly this (and does it with a smile to show his conviction), thereby wining the debate he had with the Villain (about destiny) and removing the element of anger too. As its a self sacrifice, much like what terrorists do, but for a different cause (different philosophy) and thereby saving his family, as the Terrorist will definitely free his family, as he also has high moral standards (and wants to save the "Kaum") just the Opposite Philosophy!
Brilliant!
