Does anyone have the DVD set yet?
I was curious as to the quality of the DVDs, and if there are any extras. Anyone have it yet?

I'm sure you probably have it by now, but I got mine in the mail Yesterday. It's two discs (five episodes on each) & comes in a case that looks just like a movie on dvd. The packaging is pretty light-weight (they used the cases with less plastic), but overall it looks pretty good. The quality of the picture is good, like most other shows on dvd. Unfortunately, there is only one extra which is labelled as " On set with the Unusuals Featurette" ( I haven't watched it yet). It's pretty bare bones as far as tv sets go, but I'm just glad to have all the episodes.

I don't have it yet- thanks for your review! I have all the episodes on my PS3 hard drive, so I was trying to decide if it would be worth it to buy the DVDs or just keep the ones I bought off the PS Network.
If you have the time, could you let me know how the On Set with the Unusuals feature is after you've seen it?

No problem! I just watched the featurette and, honestly, I would just stick with the episodes from the PS network. It was only five minutes long with a few members of the cast/crew giving their take on their characters and the show. There wasn't any behind-the-scenes clips or anything. There was just clips from the show interspersed with the cast interview. Definitely not worth the $20 if you already have good quality versions of all the episodes. There isn't even any deleted scenes. Unless you like to collect movies/ TV, I wouldn't bother buying this.

Julian, did you get your DVD at a store or did you get the "Amazon.com exclusive?" The Amazon one says it's only one disc and doesn't mention any featurette (though I see you wrote it was only about five minutes long).
Tho it is dark . . . know our flag . . . is still there.

I think the Amazon.com exclusive is referring to the fact that only Amazon is selling the Unusuals on DVD. I don't think any other store/company is selling it at all.
