I looked it up on BestBuy.com, and got no hits. It does show up on Amazon, but they don't list any release dates or specifics on the box set. The artwork is clearly not from a DVD case. This is clearly a case of Amazon pre-listing something that may or _MAY_NOT_ end up being released on DVD. If it does come out, they've got orders secured well in advance. If it doesn't, they don't charge you. Either way, they're almost certainly just guessing about this.

No, it is pretty official. It was confirmed by Sony Pictures, and Noah Hawley (The Unusuals show creator) confirmed it on twitter

shareWell, shoot. I wrote that and promptly forgot about it. Now here it is four years later and I just got the DVD two days ago because my DVR is getting full, I never took the time to burn the eps to DVD (purely for personal use, mind you), Uverse DVRs have reportedly received a software update to prevent you from burning recorded content of any type to DVD, and I just got curious enough to check on DVD availability again. Looks like a regular DVD, not a recordable one, but the cover insert is extremely grainy, the case has those oh-so-annoying recycle cut outs beneath both discs (because why would I want to keep the read surface of a piece of optical media from getting gouged?), and even though there are cases that have a center flap for an extra disc, or cases where on disc can overlap another on the same "page", they instead went with a case that puts one disc inside each half of the cover and _then_ added an insert page that has to clip over the top of Disc 1. Awesome package design, morons...

I noticed on the amazon page it says it is an amazon exclusive which is probably why you can't find it on any other sites.
I've seen amazon do this with other shows like South of Nowhere, amazon actually made the dvd's themselves, they burned them to order - so i know some ppl had some problems b/c their dvd players wont' play burned discs...
anyway not sure if that is the exact case with the unusuals but it seems possible.
