For everyone complaining about Marcel and Spike being jerks, at least they're friends enough to plate together. Maybe stupid, but kind of sweet.

Agreed. Such babies!

Simple camaraderie. Only a bad idea when you didn't think of it first, which I believe the source is of the other chefs' whining. And in the season premiere I wasn't even excited about these guys being on it, but now I prefer them over the other children that are competing.

Sorry, I think Spike and Marcel are *beep* and losers and I wish they'd take their icky bromance and go back to Bravo-TV and Top Chef. Neither one of them could make it in the Iron Chef kitchen; they're idiots. And I think they both should've been eliminated altho I'm glad that Spike was the one who got kicked.

That and the fact that they all have sous chefs anyway. Guarnechelli (spelling is off, lol) cooks a LOT of Zakarian's food.

I think Applebaum or whatever is a twat and I wouldn't watch him at all, ever. Or Mehta. Ick.

Yeah, I don't see his appeal. Mehta is kinda interesting but I don't want him to win.

Blargh. Very unappealing group this has become or maybe always was.

Yes, I thought it was kind of weak for Marcel to backpedal when one of the judges (Donatella?) said, "So you want to either stay together or leave together?"

Eh, FN has paid their lip service to these 2 Top Chef d-bags by letting them stay to about the halfway point. Now it's time to cut them loose. Go, Amanda, Elizabeth and Alex!

I thought it was funny that they did it in that by being side by side it would illustrate clearly if one had better food than the other.
