I just noticed that this super POS is classified a "Documentary" that examines the efforts of Texas oil rig workers .... I guess that's true if fake fights, whining, tossing hard hats and punching lockers is in the job description....

This crap is no more a "Documentary" than is an episode of the "Three Stooges".. besides that fat turd Thom Beers doesn't even know how to spell the word... what an insult...

I dont understand why you spend so much time making fun of reality shows. I dont know why you put so many laughing faces as none of your post was funny and none of the others have been as well. It seems like you cant get one of your ideas to be made into a show so you just bash other peoples shows to make yourself feel better.

Hi mike.. since you have nothing to say to support the show.. Thank you for agreeing with me that the show is POS.... ... and yes Cable TV lacks variety and imagination...

Great first post to the Boards

It's always good to hear from people connected to these garbage shows... they can state their side without making it personal, and resorting to meaningless name calling and assumptions, and they keep the topic on topic.

But I'm sorry... I still say that BLACK GOLD is as much a documentary as an episode of the FLINTSTONES... and even after your eloquent statements, I still have to say that BLACK GOLD is a cheaply produced POS... just like every one of Thom Beers productions are...

Now, tell me... what POS actor er I mean what POS he-man are you ?

Thank you to whoever removed whatever his name was first post ever to the Boards.... hopefully it will be a learning experience to him.. and he'll be able to discuss how in the heck this show is a "Documentary" of anything...
