Strangly ... not bad.. not great but not bad

I was really curious about this movie for no reason and it wasn't a waste of time movie either. The acting was really good now the script wasn't the greatest but the actor's made it not bad at all. I was impressed even.

I only watched it for Connor Trineer. First half hour was slow, but it's not bad. At least I'm still watching.

Yeah, this is actually one of the better sci-fi movies.

In history of Sci-Fi, We do seem to have more flops than we do blockbusters and while we know that more than quite a few scripts have been used and reused. It's always fun to see an actor you know do well under these circumstances.

Trip was fun and I do have to agree with you on the nightie thing, she was cute tho...

Ultimately disappointing. I actually had hopes for the movie at one point but it really fizzled. the CGI was mediocre, typical for SciFi and the acting was mediocre overall as well. Pretty much a standard outing for SciFi Saturday night.

It wasn't bad enough to laugh at and it wasn't good enough to keep me entertained.

Mediocre.. you must have meant.. like it should be..

I've seen a lot worse on Sci Fi. It would've made a good Trip-centric episode of Enterprise. Poor Connor, I can't think of him as anyone but Trip!

I can take a lot of electricity.

I live in the UK - so it will take ages for them to show this, does anyone know where I can download this please?

I really enjoyed seeing Connor in this movie it was alot better than the average movie they have on the scifi channel. It's supposed to be coming out on dvd Either echobridge Home Entertaninment or Anchor bay Entertainment may be releasing this on dvd. They've sold other movies on dvd that were originally shown on sc-fi channel.

I agree, this was actually not nearly as bad as we've come to expect of most Sci-Fi original movies. The VFX seemed to go from bad but not terrible to not-trying-anymore by the last 30 minutes. One can only hope there will be something in the DVD release to redeem this.

Its on the newsgroup:

alt.binaries.multimedia.scifi

Its about an 800 meg dl.

Keep in mind that it is a recording of the show from SCIFI channel and not a dvd rip so expect some sloppiness like scifi channel logo on screen and some advertising that pops up from time to time in the corners. Nothing that is too aggravating, though. The sound is AAC surround 2 channel.

Oh yeah, downloading it is probably illegal. YUK YUK!

The only reason I kept watching was because of Connor Trineer... he really grew during Enterprise and also on SG Atlantis. I've seen worse.

Best place to download is probably vuse.com ... had very good luck using that sw.

I do have to say that I loved that they made a movie set in space on spaceships etc. well for a time anyway then they went to the killer monster of the week stuff. I love finding low budget space movies. Mainly to see what they achieve on a budget.

reply

Just saw it and I liked it. For a tv production on a budget it was quite good.

I thought it was compelling for a TV sci-fi flick and I couldn't keep my eyes off of ultra-sexy Toni Trucks.

reply

I was drawn into the story during the 1st part but part kind of turned me off.

However, I would prefer something like this as an on going show if you had these two as the main characters in a similar sci-fi setting. 500 hundred years into the future. Mankind having colonized part of the galaxy. And etc. This is what I want from the SyFy channel. Why can't we get it ?
