Showing at 2009 New York Film Festival (25/9 - 11/10)

Great news - Rivette's latest film (36 Views of Saint-Loup Peak) will be screening at next month's New York Film Festival.

This is pretty good news for everybody - even though many of us in Australia and elsewhere won't get a chance to see it, it does mean that the film has been completed and that we may be able to expect it down here in some capacity in the next few months.

Resnais' Wild Grass, Haneke's The White Ribbon, Von Trier's Antichrist and Breillat's Bluebeard are other films of note that will be showing - I can already attest that the Breillat film is great, and I've heard nothing but good reports about the other three.
