Did Angela know what she was doing?

I meant with her surgery she was going to have. I mean, she KNEW she was taking drugs (cocoaine?)..did she (or Jane) not think that 'hey maybe the surgery won't go well if you are on something'? I don't flat out say that angela wanted to die, she probably just want not thinking very well.
