I haven't read the book nor have I seen other versions, but I loved this. I just watched it last night on Netflix and Tom Hardy (who I was already a fan of since Star Trek: Nemesis) really made the movie. The other actors all played their parts well, I didn't feel like there were any dud moments / dialogue / actors.

This version captures the essence of Heathcliff. I liked Fiennes well enough, but Tom Hardy is the best Heathcliff ever. Read the book now, you will love it.
