Another Canadian Horror Film pretending to be American

When shooting in obvious Canadian locations refrain from setting your film in the States. It doesn't make it more commercial it makes it look as stupid as the 35 year old actors playing the snow boarders in this film.

reply

Yes I agree especially about the snowboarders thing they are obviously much older than the characters they are playing!

reply

unless it is set in the states, americans wont watch it because the states is the only country where interesting stuff happens. besides, i see many american movies that will blatantly show scence world or the cn tower in the background. lazy production standards arent exclusive to canadian film makers.

reply

hahaha nice burn..........some people are just born tarded....not their fault...

reply

Right, so maybe US filmakers should stop pretending all of the films they shoot in Canada are taking place in the US of Amnesia?

reply

What happened to a fun horror film experience and just leave it at that. So many of you who carv on this film have too much time on your hands. This film was made on lunch money what do you expect?

reply

Haters dude don't bother

reply

10 YEARS FROM NOW THIS FILM WILL BE A CULT CLASSIC!!!!!!!!!!

reply

For every worthless piece of garbage, there'll be a moron feverishly singing it's praise.

reply

as soon as i saw the wisers bottle i was like "BAM! canadian movie."

I would like to point out the teenagers in US movies are looking like 35 years old too. And believe me, when talking about movies, pretending to be american is not really a plus. Only americans think they are all that. The rest of the world don't. The amount of crap being released by Hollywood is absolutely insane. Of course there are gonna be great movies... well 1 in a 100 maybe. Some americans are soooo full of themselves sometimes.

Talking about a foreign country movie trying to pass as american, how many remakes from foreign countries do Hollywood put out every year? And none of them are good. NONE. Don't throw stones in a glass house.

Oh! And might I add Hollywood coming in Canada and pretend our big cities are various American ones.

reply

The lead actor had a very Canadian accent too. I'm not sure why filmmakers in Canada think they have to set their movies in the US. I guess they just assume Americans won't watch anything that isn't.

"I'll book you. I'll book you on something. I'll find something in the book to book you on."

reply

Yeah, the accent in this movie was very Canadian, at times it sounded like a Canadian version of that annoying Valley girl accent: I'm nawt, Oh my Gawd, rounded vowels where they're not supposed to be.

reply

let me ask you, you think its ok for americans to film movies of other countries and its really filmed in america? im american and i notice this waaaay to much

our how about how tv shows are filmed in various places and not the place the show suppose to take place in same thing with movies
