I just watched this rubbish. I agree in fact one to the back of the head would have been enough.

The guy with the gun was extremely dumb. He wastes all his bullets on a guy he's never seen before. He knows there's two more out there. But WHO KNOWS how many there were out there. He should've thought of that. "This fat ass is in this guy's house, who knows how many more are out there? Oh, well. I'll waste my bullets on him."
To be honest, I think one bullet would've been good enough. The guy was extremely overweight and barely moving around, one bullet would've messed him up good.

The fat guy was the one who originally gave them the bad directions in the diner.
That said, this movie was horrible. Bad acting, bad effects, bad everything.
