Why wern't they mentioned in this?

During production of this movie, they were either just starting out as murderers or were established but hadn't been caught yet. The popular Internet video wasn't leaked until after this movie was completed.

Yeah, it certainly is interesting though, especially how those sick *beep* didn't get any mainstream coverage in the US. I bet for sure that clip would have been mentioned/discussed if that movie had been made just six months later.

Definetly. I wish this was made six months after,so this would have been mentioned. Then those *beep* would get all the attention they wanted. (So that would be two potential snuffs in the documentary. This and the story Mark said)

I was wondering about this as well. It's probably the first video that comes to mind when someone says 'snuff film'.
I don't mean to impose, but I am the Ocean.

Likewise; if it fufilled all the requirements for such. It's probably the closest thing to a snuff that we're ever going to see or hear of, until something comes to the surface.

Did they mention Guinea Pig? I wish they mentioned more in the cinema chapter.

I recall seeing a few clips of Devil's Experiment and He Never Dies. The one that does stick to me the most is Flower of Flesh and Blood. I was able to see at least half of it before it was pulled off Youtube. If it got re-uploaded, I'm not sure. I've yet to see Mermaid in the Manhole or the other one.

I love the fore effects in them. I do wish they mentioned other fake snuffs like MuZanE and Niku Daruma. I've heard Niku Daruma (or Judge For Yourself as the title is on here) is one of the more realistic looking fake snuffs.

And I downloaded niku daruma. They are both good.

I don't trust torrent sites much,so I'm waiting to get a lot of this stuff on dvd. But it's worth the wait I guess,since I want to save up to try to make a collection out of the dark/extreme stuff in the future.

Speak of Niku Daruma, I wonder how Charlie Sheen's reaction would be if he saw it. LOL

Well yeah I have a huge collection of the extreme nasty stuff. I paid 83 bucks for my barrel ed. Of the last house on dead end street. I like to download stuff to see if I want to buy it. Charlie Sheen would probably *beep* himself. Also Muzan E is hard film to find. I heard unearthed films owns the rights though.

Yep. And for a moment I thought they had the entire collection from serialkillercalender. I'm more curious about this rare movie that's on there the last time I checked (The director said something about re-releasing it since Majestic Home Video destroyed it, but I'm not sure which version I'd end up with).

How are you defining a "snuff film"? The usual definition is a porn film that ends in a murder and the film is sold for a profit. If you're just talking about a murder video, there's been tons of those before and after. Those little Ukrainian bitches and even that Canadian moron have nothing on the Mexican drug cartels when it comes to sheer brutality and depravity.

About the infamous "3guys1hammer", unfortunatelly, in my country, Chile, a national opus-dei/right-wing channel advertised some years ago a tv special about those Ukranian psychos. I had never heard about them until all the hype of that crappy show. I was curious so I google it. I thought it was fake, it looked more fake to me than Guinea Pig or Faces of Death. My mother asked me what was I watching, and I told her: "the so-called snuff movie they're advertising on tv". She said: "It's blurry", I said: "of course, so you can't tell if it's real or not. I think it's fake. Wanna see a better attempt? It's japanese". She asked me, in shock, if they show that on open TV. I told her of course not, but they were almost begging us to look at it and it was very easy to find. Of course my mother left the room, saying something about how sick is this world. I really thought it was fake. I even watched frame by frame (I went to film school, so it didn't feel wrong to me, I just hated the stupid "polemic" tv show).

Now that I know that the case, the victims, the recording, the murders, the killers, they were all real, I feel ashamed of myself, and ashamed of the vulgarity of the TV of my country.
