3.7!? Seriously??? 37.8% of the votes being a '1?' Come on now. While I think Boll's video game movies suck, his newer, less video game oriented films are much better. This wasn't bad at all. 'Darfur' wasn't bad at all. 'Rampage' was pretty great. Really looking forward to 'Auschwitz.'

I bet that most of these 1 votes belong to people who haven't even seen the movie.

The acting could have been a bit better in this movie, but hell, not so bad that it warrants a 3.7. The message in the movie was powerful and true to life. It definitely deserves a higher rating.

Boll haters SUCKS

Stoic is a GREAT INTENSE AND BRUTAL drama movie, and Boll is a very good director

My rating for Stoic is 8/10

I think alot of narrow minded people on IMDB think that a movie has to be enjoyable or satisfying to be a good film.

This movie, while disturbing and heart-wrenching gets the reaction from the audience it set out to get. It was well acted, well directed and a moving powerful story.

I think the people who gave it a score of 1 need to re-examine the film for what it is.

Do guys like "the thing"?
They like it better than no thing.

Ditto, this movie is seriously underrated. It is also an underground film so it hasn't had much exposure. I wonder what voting results would look like if it had more exposure.

Just saw this yesterday. Have to say this is a pretty intense movie. Acting was good imo. But this thing is hard to stomach. And based on a true story! Wow.

Anyone know the events this was based on? Love to read about that.

I have watched alot of hard core stuff, but this one freaked me out a bit. Stomach turning imo.

I'm willing to bet the idiots that voted the movie a "1" were morons that never watched this. They just saw Boll's name on the movie and gave it a bad vote because they think that's the "cool" thing to do. Idiots.

I just saw it recently and it shook me to the bone. Very disturbing, tragic and upsetting. People who rated it a 1 are clearly bol haters who haven't seen it. If it were a debut the ratings would be different, guaranteed. Sure his video game movies sucked but it's amazing how much he's improved with time. I thought the acting, direction and writing were pretty much perfect for the subject matter. Imdb ratings are such a joke.

i rate it at 10 because of a tragic yet brutal story being told awesome movie. Max Seed was almost super Natural
