Darfur Screening in Toronto

Last night was the Toronto screening of the Darfur Film Tour. The event was a success all around. The ticket sales and turnout were great - so great that we had to move to a larger theatre prior to audiences arriving. We had approximately 270 guests attend the event. The screening was followed by a question and answer period with a very unique panel, including: Anne Wagner, Ismail Adam (a leader of the Canadian Darfurian community), Olivia Chow (Member of Parliament) and Benjamin Shinewald (Executive Director of the Canadian Jewish Congress). Overall, audiences were very effected by this film and eager to learn more. We are looking forward to the rest of the screenings over the next two weeks.
