I'm Glad I'm Not The Only One

........that was a bit confused by this strange and very sad movie....

I only purchased it because I thought that Inés Efron was remarkably good in 'XXY', but I found myself shaking my head about halfway through this, as the plot jumped from the present to the past and back again.

Another poster suggested that a second viewing would probably make more sense of it, so I will give it another try next week, maybe.

My only question about it (on my first viewing) is why did the dog-catcher bloke shoot Lala in the leg, then rescue her, Guayi, and the dog... or am I missing something else?

As I said at the outset...Strange and Very Sad....

No he rescued her. Lala was shot by a woman coming out of the criminal's house.

Initially quite interesting, the movie unerringly descended into a melodramatic cess pit.🐭
