German speak

Hi, can anyone tell me what Marcela says to Martin when they are in bed? Guess it's german. Thanks!!!

Hi rsantos-rj,

me thinks she says in german "Ich hätte mich leicht verliebt." The problem is no one I know would actually say that in german because the sentence doesn't make sense. My english isn't that good but I think you could translate it to: "I could have fallen in love easy." But in this context I would never say the german word "leicht" (= english "easy") and the tense is wrong too.

My guess (and I might be wrong): The original sentence in german was "Ich hätte mich vielleicht verliebt" which you can translate in "I could have probably fallen in love" (german "vielleicht" = english "probably"). It makes much more sense as a german sentence and I think for the scene in the movie as well. She seems disappointed with his performance in bed and is sad cause she had a nice evening before.

I hope that helps - perhaps someone else might have a better guess ...

"Ich hätte mich leicht verliebt" is actually very correct. You can translate it as "I could've fallen in love easily" and you can tell that she's trying her best to reach over to him but he's emotionally absent. Which is completely consumed after they sleep together.
