Anyone else think of Doris Day?

When we see scenes of Rita in her big movie, it brought to mind one I saw years ago, probably on Turner Classic, which was LOVE ME OR LEAVE ME (1955, to be found here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0048317/?ref_=fn_tt_tt_1), starring Doris Day. I'm not sure if she sings the same song (now I'm forgetting--does Rita sing a bit of "Love For Sale," or "Ten Cents a Dance"?), but that moment from Rita's DEEP IN MY HEART brought to mind that Doris Day movie.



Multiplex: 100+ shows a day, NONE worth watching. John Sayles' latest: NO distribution. SAD.
