Seems like i read about this ages ago and still no sign of release! Anyone know whats going on?

Ken Johnson, though his Initiate Productions, plans to invest in films in the $5 million to $10 million range. He already has financed the comedies “Manure” and “Stay Cool,” both from brothers Michael and Mark Polish.
“Manure,” starring Billy Bob Thornton and Tea Leoni, is being re-edited after debuting to poor reviews at the Sundance Film Festival in January, Johnson said. He plans to take the re- worked “Manure” to the Cannes film festival and “Stay Cool” to Toronto.

This was over a year ago. I don't know if "Stay Cool" was shown in Toronto last September.
It went to Tribeca last year.
I'm almost positive it didn't go to Toronto. I wish it would just come out on dvd. It got some strong reviews.

According to the website of chain of movie-rental store here in the BeNeLux they will have the DVD starting September 7th :)

It's getting released in Australia straight to dvd on the 22nd of this month. I haven't found any pictures of what the dvd will look like but two sites mention that day as release date. I hoped it was gonna get a theatrical release but it seems the reviews haven't been very good and many distributors think it twice before releasing something in theatres in Australia if it's not gonna make money. The same with the new film with Harrison Ford.
