If you want to know more about the Pranksters, on the bus and off the bus, I want to highly recommend Tom Wolfe's report style book "The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test"! It is enormously funny. Supposedly Tom Wolfe spend some time on the bus.

Just finished that reading it. Awesome book. It has a real unique flow to it. Very cool.
