Martin Freeman's Teeth - FAKE??

My wife and I enjoyed this movie a lot. It was odd seeing Martin Freeman with his hair slicked down and an eerie fake tan. But what got to me after awhile was his creepy smile. Then I started to wonder - are those really his teeth, or is he wearing a prosthetic for extra creepiness? They are miraculously white and even, considering the state of British dentistry as a whole (or hole).

I jsut listened to an interview with him, and they were fake yeah.

I thought it was a great disguise truthfully... you stopped believing he was martin freeman, the nice mad from the office and saw him as someone else entirely. Some scene it barely looked like him. I think he was wonderful.

Actually, this was the first role I've seen him in that he wasn't Tim!
When I first saw him in this I thought it was Norman Wisdom.

Confused?.....You will be.

For my money he was a dead ringer for the young Tom Courtenay (and the teeth did help there).

Those may be an homage to the fake teeth John Cleese had in that film about people racing after some big money, the one where Rowan Atkinson played an Italian
