Do you know how condescending that is?! No doubt Em would make a great Bond girl, but her repertoire and filmography to date is extensive and, since being a Bond girl has often proved to be followed by something of a career hiatus for some actresses, I'd rather she didn't do it.

Yeah it's condescending - but Sophia Marceau was also "a Bond girl" (actually, the first full grown Bond Woman), and she didn't lose much credibility doing this after her beefy list of substantial credits. Although...what has she done lately?....

Sophie was my favorite Bond girl, because she was gorgeous and didn't suck as an actor. Netflix is streaming "Revenge of the Musketeers" (La fille de d'Artagnan)which I watched because Sophie starred. She was freakin amazing! She delivered great cheesy French dialog while fording a river on a horse. More cheesy dialog while competently swinging a foil. And she was gorgeous.
