Thought it was to show she was not about material things. I thought she wanted to have it both ways. Playing the good girl but felt she was above being a cheater. Cheating was not something being done as being bad, but fulfilling her needs.

You may notice that her "reason" is left up to the audience. I did get lost on the second break-up. You know, after her "shirty" dance in Marshall's home.
