Front page synopsis a spoiler!

The single line synopsis on the front page of this movie gives away a main part of the plot. This doesn't ruin what is a great film but does remove some of the tension from the ongoing drama. The situation Malik finds himself in doesn't seem quite so threatening and visceral if you know he is going to survive and become "a mafia kingpin".

I often look at imdb.com when I am deciding on what films to watch, as I am sure a lot of people do, as it's a very helpful and interesting site. However, if part of what the site aims to do is to help people make decisions on what to see then perhaps they shouldn't reveal the end of the film in the first full sentence written about it.

Why don't you edit it then?

I think you need to have a pro account to edit such things.

Stop whining! It's not a synopsis, but a one line summary that is used to outline what to expect in the 155 minute film you are thinking of seeing and was likely provided by the film distribution company. TV guides will essentially give the same summary of the film.🐭
