Might sound stupid, but I don't like the prophet part (*SPOILERS*)

I looked forward to this film because I love characters who rise in power and status through a films plot, and was hoping Malik would achieve greatness. While this was the case to a large extent, I'd have much preferred it if the whole 'prophet' part didn't happen. Yes, I know the film is called that, but I didn't like him having greatness thrust upon him. That was more luck than anything. It would have been better for me if he had gotten out of the kidnapping situation entirely on his own.
